Our History

To the glory of almighty God, Adventist Heritage Academy came into existence as a result of an extensive meetings and deliberations upon the importance and the need of having a church school in Oyo State. The proprietors of the school have been making series of move in this direction for quite sometimes, but finally on the 12th of September 2016, the proprietors under the auspices of Oyo conference executive committee of the seventh day Adventist church met again and it was unanimously voted that the school be established. The committee on the same day took an inspection tour on the facilities on ground for the proposed school and recommendation was made for the restructuring of the building in order for it to be fitted for school's use Having done all the needful, and a choice of uniform made the admission form of the first intake of the school was released for sale while the arrangement was put in place for the recruitment of the first set of school's administrators and staff. A choice of principal was made in the person of Mrs Funmi Ogunwole who was to be assisted by Mr Kola Adelakin as the Vice principal. The following were recruited as the pioneer teaching staff: Miss Cecilia Adebayo, Miss Ore Ajiboye, Miss Busayo Kolapo and Mr Wale Oyeleke as permanent staff. While the following were employed as part time teachers Mr Akinpelu Sola and Mrs Gbenle Yetunde. The common entrance examination took place in batches as follows: 14th, 21st and 28th September 2016. And the school three open her door for the first set students on the 19th of September 2016. Student enrolment at opening 16 Since then the school has been making a remarkable progress in terms of number of student's enrolment and staff strength.
